Can you do No-Thing?

This month has been intense. Having been on this planet for quite some time, I can say that life is escalating. Social media is one contributing factor with research revealing that we spend more time on our smart phones than not.

I am learning to be receptive to life. When I wake up, I raise my hands to the sky and say thank you in order to receive. In the field of self care, one learns to balance energy by giving to oneself first before others.

One spiritual speaker I follow, Dr Michael Beckwith talks about finding your purpose and being open to the laws of abundance. I was never one to resonate with the idea of abundance but once my perception shifted to feeling grateful on my mission, I now attract what resonates with my soul and purpose including other humans on the same path of serving/wellness.

Yoga is my calling but in order to give of myself, I take time out to become empty, to do “No-Thing” as coined by Dr Beckwith. I also feel the need to cultivate other hobbies outside of my work. Remember nobody can serve from an empty cup. Fill your own up first.
